Short description of the company / technology

This is Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Sahito (Postdoctoral Researcher) from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. I have completed my Doctoral Degree (Ph.D) in Genetics (Plant-Genetics) from Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing China (January-2018). My studies not only improved the genetic transformation system in soybean but also helped in identifying novel regulatory genes and miRNAs that confer salt stress. This work had been published in a well reputed Journal “BMC Plant Biology Journal” in the year 2017.

Currently, I am working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Ministry of Education (MOE) Key Laboratory of Environment Remediation and Ecosystem Health, College of Environmental and resources Sciences, Zhejiang University.

(1) We are working on Environmental Pollution and Phytoremediation Technologies to reclaim contaminated soils. (2) Environmental Monitoring and Environmental Assessments.

We have published our results in highly reputed journals like Journal of Cleaner Production, Environmental Pollution, Plant and soil, Chemosphere, Genes, BMC Plant Biology, Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety, Journal of Environmental Sciences, International Journal of Phytoremediation, Journal of food composition and Analysis, Journal of Environmental Management and so on.

Furthermore, I want to take the advantage of my past knowledge, experience and technology to apply in future research direction and establish my career in working at the reputed research group as one of the team member to contribute for Science and Society.
